Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains the leading cause of mortality worldwide, with aging as one of its main risk factors. Cellular senescence and oxidative stress form a bidirectional vicious cycle that drives vascular aging, endothelial dysfunction, and atherosclerotic progression.
